Luiza Vardanyan - Executive Director
Luiza Vardanyan took over Acting ED's role in October 2010. As of July 1 2011 she is the Executive Director. Luiza has been working as Finance and Administrative Manager for Habitat for Humanity Armenia (HFHA) since October 2008. She is responsible for smooth management of financial and administrative issues such as budgeting, reporting, internal control, accounting, as well as safeguarding and managing the assets of the company. She has over fifteen years working experience in finance field, twelve out of which is working for international non-governmental organizations. With ten years of working experience with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Delegation in Armenia; Habitat Armenia is pleased to have Luiza Vardanyan, an MBA with a major in finance/accounting, graduated from the American University of Armenia (AUA). Luiza has attended numerous trainings and conferences relating to legal and tax legislation, as well as international financial and control mechanisms.

 

Anna Paradyan - Financial and Administrative Manager
Anna has 21 years working experience in financial field out of which 16 years she has worked as a Chief Accountant for such companies as Armenian Red Cross Society and Armenian Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund. She had valuable experience in accounting processes automation issues, has attended numerous local and international trainings related to financial regulations, legal and tax legislation, accounting standards, internal control issues. Currently Anna coordinate and manage accounting processes, responsible for financial and tax reporting, internal control issue as well as for developing and monitoring budgets. Also she taking the UK based Association of Chartered Certified Accountants examinations and she keeps high her professional level.

 

 

Siranush Vardanyan - Program Development Manager
Siranush Vardanyan has over twenty years working experience, sixteen out of which is working for international non-government organizations. She is Program Development Manager of Habitat for Humanity Armenia (HFHA) since September 2008 to present. Siranush provides the information on national level housing needs, identifies specific target groups and communities who are potential beneficiaries of a HFH intervention. She takes an active role in monitoring the implementation of the projects and ensuring key performance indicators are met within the allocated resource amount (human & fiscal). Before joining HFHA team, from 2000-2007 Siranush worked for Project Harmony Armenia as a Program Manager for the Armenia School Connectivity Program. Siranush has the extensive managerial, communication, and project implementation skills. She is one of the pioneers in Armenia of online facilitation and, as a Trainer of Trainers for successful leadership and completion of Online Facilitation and Development, conducted numerous trainings for Armenian students and teachers. Siranush is Salzburg Seminar Fellow of the Academic Core Session "International Legal Perspectives on Human Rights"; Diplo Foundation Alumnus, participating at "Internet Governance Capacity Building Training" Program in 2007; First European Summer School on Internet Governance Alumnus; Three times ICANN Fellow (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) and ISOC Ambassador for IGF 2010.

 

 

Seda Arzumanyan - Resource Development Manager (on maternity leave till May 6th, 2012)
Seda Arzumanyan, MA in Social Work joined the Habitat for Humanity Armenia team as a Volunteer Coordinator in 2008 with her 7 years experience in social activities related to vulnerable groups. She is Resource Development Manager of Habitat for Humanity Armenia since July 2010 to present. Seda is providing a communication with the donors and other Habitat affiliates, presenting reports and HFH Armenia projects progress and organization activities. She also focuses on local Fundraising trying to engage more supporters in Habitat Armenia program. Seda is continuing successfully international and local volunteers’ coordination within Global Village program. Before Habitat experience, among the wide ranging and numerous projects Seda has been involved in, highlights include: Community protection centre for children at risk (“New Armenia” NGO), Community youth club (“AMSE” youth NGO), Leave no child out, Child labor study, Child protection Network and Forum (FAR). She has more than five years' experience in coordinating different social projects, seminars, conferences, capacity building trainings and working with volunteerism, as well as organizing Fundraising events and network management.

 

Narine Terzyan - Housing Finance Manager
Narine Terzyan is a certified economist with a major in finance and investments. She has joined Habitat for Humanity Armenia in 2010 with more than four years experience in banking sector, where she was engaged in corporate finance and lending activities and was in charge for developing investment projects for major companies operating in Armenia. She has been involved as a banking sector expert in EU consultancy project for Armenian government. Narine has participated in numerous trainings and conferences in Armenia and abroad relating to banking, financial markets, as well as leadership development. Currently she works on her PhD thesis which covers the issues of refinancing possibilities of mortgage loans in Armenia.

 

 

Andre Ohanian - Construction Manager
Andre Ohanian is the Construction Manager of Habitat for Humanity Armenia since September 2010 with his 4 years experience in field supervision and construction management. He is responsible for providing building standards and parameters and is in hold of supervision on construction sites with volunteers and partner families, as well monitors the construction programs from a technical perspective. Working with the Program Development Manager, he develops the Habitat programs and projects within the country. Before Habitat experience, among the wide ranging and numerous projects Andre has been involved in, highlights include: dams, reservoirs, and canals, exploitation of hydraulic structures, civil buildings, cottages, and rehabilitation of pumping stations in Armenia. He has taken part in the construction of Zvartnots international airport's new terminal as well. Andre got his Master`s degree at civil and industrial construction in June 2010.

 

 

Naira Abrahamyan - Global Village and Communications Coordinator
Naira has started with Habitat for Humanity Armenia since July 2009 as a Program Assistant. In 2010, she took over the responsibilities of the Communications Assistant. Currently, she is her new role of the Global Village and Communications Coordinator. Having master degree in linguistics, she coordinates all the communication and Global Village program activities of HFH Armenia, updates photo and video database, as well as prepares reports for HFH Armenia donors/partners and makes update materials on Habitat Armenia projects and activities.
Before Habitat experience she has volunteered in Highfest International Arts Performing Festival where she helped the participants and guests to stage performances providing translation/interpretation services. As a volunteer, she was pleased to have a contribution in UMCOR projects. She has also been involved in customer service where she rapidly developed her communication skills.

Ruzanna Nahapetyan - Fundraising Specialist
Ruzanna Nahapetyan joined HFHA in December 2011. She has LL.M degree in International Public Law and Human Rights. Around 5 years of working experience in non profit sphere. IN HFHA Ruzanna develops and designs the working plan related to fundraising and partnership building both in national and international levels. She engages new partners and writes grant proposals, develops and implements Marketing activities with partner financial organizations. Due to her position she is responsible for ensuring resources, communications, reporting and the development of relationships with local and international donors in partnership with Habitat for Humanity International, as well as international and local volunteers’ management.

Anna Hovakimyan - Administrative Assistant
Anna has joined HFH Armenia in August 2011 as an administrative assistant. Having bachelor degree in diplomacy, she is supporting activities of all Managers, making travel arrangements and bookings, preparing reports for the Executive Director as well as assisting the Executive Director in HR issues. Currently she is studying for her Master’s degree.
